INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY 2020

Equality is not a women’s issue. It concerns all of us. Men and women, in both the private and professional sphere. Equality is the foundation for a healthy and flourishing society, for equal opportunity and fairness.

We are all responsible for it every day, in everything we do. This is why UPC as a company stands for gender equality and actively works to support it.

We are #EachforEqual.

UPC IS DONATING TO “GIRLS IN TECH”

Equal rights also mean equal access to the world of work: The non-profit organisation “Girls in Tech Switzerland” is working to end gender inequalities in high-tech industries and start-ups. Their mission is to attract and retain women in the software, hardware and IT industries by having mentoring, role models and community spirit through organising tech and career events.

UPC as a telecommunications provider is pleased to have female apprentices in all areas of the company and would like to contribute in an even bigger way: So from 6 to 9 March 2020, for every TV, Internet or Mobile subscription we sell, we will donate CHF 20 to “Girls in Tech”.
