If you wish to retain your current mobile number from your current mobile telephony provider, please indicate this when ordering the UPC mobile subscription. We will process your request free of charge.
The number portability procedure depends on whether you have a post-paid or prepaid mobile subscription with your current mobile telephony provider.
If you have a Mobile subscription with a smartphone, you can order a new smartphone at any time:
Case 1: The minimum contract period for your handset plan has come to an end and your current smartphone has been paid off in full. Then you can simply log into My UPC and order a new mobile handset with a new handset plan directly.
Case 2: The minimum contract period for your handset plan has not yet come to an end and your smartphone has not yet been paid off in full. Before you can order a new smartphone, you must first pay off the old smartphone in full, thereby bringing the old handset plan to an end. Subsequently, you can order a new mobile handset in My UPC and thereby conclude a new handset plan.
Have you got an existing, older Mobile subscription? Here’s how you can get a new smartphone.
The costs for your handset plan are made up primarily of two components: The one-off upfront payment for the smartphone and the monthly instalments through which you pay off the remaining amount for the smartphone (complete price minus the upfront payment) within 24 months.
You can determine the amount of the upfront payment yourself. The instalment amount is calculated on the basis of this.
Changing to UPC is quick and simple. We will help you take all of the necessary steps and you can even keep your current mobile number (which you can enter during the order process).
Only in conjunction with a new or existing UPC Mobile subscription (e.g. Mobile Swiss 1000 Flat for CHF 29/month).
* Credit note worth CHF 100 will be considered in your next bill. No cash payment possible. Valid until 17.9.2017. While stocks last. Subject to offer and price changes.
