A surprise at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival. Jude Law and Carrie Coon star in the psychological thriller from Martha Marcy May Marlene director Sean Durkin. "It's not your job to worry. Leave that to your husband." It's advice Allison gets from her mother when she rather unwillingly moves from an American suburb to the English countryside in the mid-1980s with her husband, Rory, and their two children. Rory, an ambitious entrepreneur, sees a chance for big money in his home country. Clinging to his own illusions, he rents a sprawling but gloomy country estate with room for Allison's horses. But soon the family threatens to collapse under the unaffordable lifestyle and increasing isolation. Rory and Allison are headed for a seemingly inevitable collapse.
