TROUBLESHOOTING

BASIC TV - NO SIGNAL

I HAVE NO SIGNAL

Here's what you can do:

stepOutline01

CHECK THE NETWORK OUTAGE PAGE

Real-time service notices and disruptions are displayed and continously updated here. If there is an issue due to an outage you will be able to see it.

stepOutline02

MAKE SURE THERE IS AN ACTIVE SIGNAL

If there is no outage in your area, check the cabling between the TV and the socket.

checkmarkThick

Make sure that the cable is properly connected on both ends.

checkmarkThick

Unplug the cable from the TV and from the socket and plug it back in.

checkmarkThick

Make sure that neither the cable nor the socket show any sign of physical damage.

checkmarkThick

Make sure that the TV set is directly connected to the wall socket: in other words, verify that there is only one cable in place, without any splitter or socket distributor in between.

The cable should have a maximum length of 10 metres. If this is not the case, you can request a new cable by clicking the link below.

ENSURE THAT THE CORRECT INPUT SOURCE IS SELECTED

If the cabling seems to be in order, then ensure that the correct input source is selected on the TV. For instance, the input source should not be "HDMI" or "Ext", but rather something like "DTV", "Digital TV" or "TV". Bear in mind that the actual name may vary according to the model of your TV set.
