WHAT WILL HAPPEN?

To keep you up to date, we regularly inform you of changes that we make to the TV
portfolio. When we make portfolio changes, channels can be removed, and new ones can be added. On 4th of June 2024, we are making changes to the channel line-up which are TV Box specific.  

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO AND WHEN?

If you are using the latest UPC TV Box, you don’t need to do anything. The number of channels available to you is increasing. You will find the full channel list in the section below.

 

 

If you are using an older TV Box or Digicard, you may be subject to a reduction in the channels available to you. If you are impacted, you will have received a communication in the recent months to notify you of these changes.

 

You may also experience a change in channel order, missing channels and in some cases, empty channel slots. In this case you need to perform a channel search. Please click on your device in the list below for more information about how to perform a channel search.



Important: You should not perform any manual update before 4th of June 2024.

To receive the new channel offer, please carry out the following steps on 4th of June:

Search the settings and parameters needed here using your address.

Run a digital channel search (select quick search) or a channel list update. This is generally found using the «Menu» button on your remote control. If you have any questions, please consult the user guide for your TV set.

Enter those settings and parameters (see step 1).

The updated channel offer is now available. If necessary, reprogramme your favourites list.

If the channels are not displayed correctly or in a different order, please check if you have used the correct settings and parameters and perform the manual search again (see step 2).

DigiCard

To receive the new channel offer, please carry out the following steps on the 4th of June:

Search the settings and parameters needed here using your address.

Run a digital channel search (select quick search) or a channel list update. This is generally found using the «Menu» button on your remote control. If you have any questions, please consult the user guide for your TV set.

Enter those settings and parameters (see step 1).

The updated channel offer is now available. If necessary, reprogramme your favourites list.

If the channels are not displayed correctly or in a different order, please check if you have used the correct settings and parameters and perform the manual search again (see step 2).

If the process described does not work, please proceed as follows:

Take the DigiCard, including your module, out of your TV set.

Restore the TV set to the factory settings. If you have any questions, please consult the user guide for your TV set.

Carry out a digital channel scan.

After completing the channel search, insert the DigiCard including the module into your TV set again.

HD Mediabox HD Mediabox Receiver/Recorder

The channel offer will be updated automatically. The important thing is to leave the Mediabox on stand-by for at least 24 hours and do not disconnect it from the mains so that the adjustment can take place.
 
Please note the following information (valid from 4th of June):

If your Box does not receive the new channels automatically, unplug the power cable for 10 seconds and then plug it in again.

If you have favourites, reminders or future scheduled recordings on your HD Mediabox, you will need to set them up again. Programmes which have already been recorded will be remain on your Box.

If you're still having problems, reset your Box to the factory settings.

Converter Reception via an older TV set

The channel offer will be updated automatically. If a request appears on your TV screen for you to accept the changes, please confirm this. The important thing is to leave the converter on stand-by for at least 24 hours and do not disconnect it from the mains so that the adjustment can take place. 

Please note the following information (valid from 4th of June):

If your converter does not automatically receive the new channel offer, turn your box off for at least 5 minutes, and then try again.

Check your favourites list and reprogramme it if it has been overwritten.

If the process described does not work, please proceed as follows:

If the procedure described does not work, restore your device to the factory settings. Please note that, with the converter, you can view all channels with lower quality and you miss out on excellent HD picture.

Horizon Recorder

The channel offer will be updated automatically. The important thing is to leave the Horizon Recorder on stand-by for at least 24 hours and do not disconnect it from the mains so that the adjustment can take place. 

Please note the following information (valid from 4th of June):

If you don't receive all channels or have problems with other functions, turn your box off for at least 20 minutes, and then try again.

If necessary, reprogramme your favourites, reminders and scheduled recordings. Programmes already recorded will remain on your Box.

If you're still having problems, reset your Box to the factory settings.

If you are using the latest UPC TV Box, you don’t need to do anything. The number of channels available to you is increasing.
