NO PICTURE ON TV

I AM UNABLE TO SEE A PICTURE ON MY TV

Here's what you can do:

stepOutline01

CHECK YOUR HDMI CONNECTION

Make sure that your HDMI cable is correctly connected to your TV and the UPC TV Box. Use either our included HDMI cable or a new, undamaged HDMI cable specified as "High Speed". Try different HDMI cables if possible.

Also check that the HDMI input of your TV is set to the appropriate HDMI port. If you wish to have more information, please check the instruction manual of your TV.

stepOutline02

IF THE ISSUE PERSISTS, REBOOT YOUR UPC TV BOX

Check whether all the cables are connected correctly. Restart the UPC TV Box by carefully unplugging the power cord and plugging it back in after 30 seconds. Wait until the box has completely rebooted and then check if the problem has been solved.

stepOutline03

IF THE ISSUE PERSISTS, TRY OTHER HDMI CONNECTORS

Please check all of the HDMI connectors on your TV. Plug the HDMI cable into different connectors and see if the issue persists.

stepOutline04

IF THE ISSUE PERSISTS, UPDATE YOUR TV’s FIRMWARE

Check that the firmware of your TV is up-to-date. To do so you may want to visit the webpage of the producer of your TV for more information.

If you are certain that the TV firmware is up-to-date then turn off the CEC functionality by referring to the instruction manual of your TV.

stepOutline05

TRY THE DIFFERENT STANDBY SETTINGS OF YOUR UPC TV BOX AND TV

If the problem seems to mostly occur after reactivating your TV from Standby mode, try all possible Standby settings of your UPC TV box and your TV.

The UPC TV Box has three possible Standby modes by default, whereas the number of Standby modes of your TV depends on the model. To switch the Standby mode of your UPC TV box, visit the settings menu. To open the settings menu, open up the main menu of your UPC TV Box by pressing the button on your remote control indicated below and from there select the cogwheel symbol.
