CHANNELS HAVE NO SOUND

THERE ISN'T ANY SOUND COMING FROM ANY TV CHANNEL

Here's what you can do:

REBOOT YOUR UPC TV BOX

Check whether all the cables are connected correctly. Restart the UPC TV Box by carefully unplugging the power cord and plugging it back in after 30 seconds. Wait until the box has completely rebooted and then check if the problem has been solved.

ENSURE THAT YOUR TV IS NOT ON MUTE

Please check whether you have accidentally pressed the mute button or turned down the volume of your TV.

CHECK YOUR HOME CINEMA CONNECTIONS

In the event that you have home cinema and are therefore using an AV (audio/video) receiver, please check the connection. You may want to refer to the instruction manuals of your home cinema system to make sure the receiver is appropriately connected.

TRY USING AN HDMI CABLE

Connect your UPC TV Box directly to your TV set by using an HDMI cable.

TRY TO CONNECT DIRECTLY VIA THE HDMI CABLE

Connect your UPC TV Box directly to your TV set by using the HDMI cable you received together with your TV Box. This means that no further devices (like an AV receiver) should be connected between the TV set and the UPC TV Box.
