· UPC mobile, Internet and TV subscriptions can only be canceled over the phone or via UPC Live Chat. Written cancellations by mail, fax or e-mail are not valid. TV options for subscriptions can still be canceled online via your «My UPC» customer account.


· Shortly after cancellation, you will receive a cancellation confirmation via mail, SMS and e-mail. Calls are recorded. If you cancel via Live Chat, you can have the chat history sent to you.


· Calls or chats within Switzerland are of course free of charge. If you cancel from abroad, you will be charged the usual call/data fees if calls or data are not already included in your subscription or as part of a roaming package.

How do I cancel my UPC subscription?

Starting 1 May 2021 (1 June 2021 for existing customers), all UPC subscriptions can only be cancelled over the phone or via UPC Chat. Written notices of cancellation by letter, fax or e-mail are no longer valid as of this date. For more details, please see here.

Information for moving abroad
If you move abroad, you can still report your move free of charge in My UPC. We will then cancel the contract for your UPC subscription.

Note for reporting deaths
If you wish to cancel or transfer a UPC subscription due to a death, an online form is still available.

Information for moving to a care home for the elderly
If the UPC subscription is cancelled due to a move to a retirement home, a corresponding form is available on this page.
